Our little hometown has become very festive for the holidays. Everyone has decked their lawns with boughs of Christmas lights and inflatable Santas. Well most everyone. We believe “sometimes less is more” and expanded this to “sometimes nothing is everything”. When Ezra is older he may want us to decorate the outside of our house for the holidays, but I suspect Piper would prefer we didn’t.
Piper views all of the decorations with suspicion, but is absolutely terrified of the snowman seen above. The snowman is animatronic, life sized and sings and dances when you walk by. It is unfortunately placed in our neighbor's yard, directly in Piper’s line of view from his favorite place to sit in our yard. So he sits there waiting, yet never knowing when the snowman is going to break into its robotic version of “Frosty the Snowman”. He constantly barks and growls at it from our backyard, and insists we walk on the opposite side of the street from it. I have to admit, I kind of agree with Piper - it does looking menacing for a snowman.
